Private Tuition

Justin is an experienced and enthusiastic music educator who believes learning music can make a powerful difference to our lives for the better. He has teaching experience in a vast range of genres and has lead big bands, percussion ensembles and orchestras through to university level. Justin is also much in demand as a workshop leader, focussing on jazz, ensemble interplay/teamwork and embodied rhythm.

Justin believes that the needs of every student are unique. Therefore, beyond ensuring that solid musical foundations are in place, he tries to make the learning process one that is unique, exciting and individually-tailored to each student.

Justin has been a visiting music teacher and ensemble/workshop leader at universities and schools in and around London, including King’s College, London; Whitgift School, Croydon; Lady Eleanor Holles School, Hampton; Hazelwood school, Oxted (some of which he still teaches at). He currently has a handful of dedicated students and occasionally teaches privately from his home studio. He is also frequently asked to provide consultation lessons for those interested in going on to study music at conservatoire or university level. Do feel free to get in touch.
